On November 6, the International Symposium on Optoelectronic Materials and Devices hosted by ISMSE was successfully held in the school lecture hall. Nine experts and scholars from the United Kingdom, Sweden, Hong Kong SAR and Mainland of China gave academic reports. Faculty and students from ISMSE andSchool of Materials and Engineering participated in the meeting.

Wang Tao, Dean of ISMSE, delivered a speech and expressed a warm welcome to the leaders and guests attending this symposium. He said that ISMSE attached great importance to international cooperation and exchanges. The experts and scholars attending the seminar were all well-known experts in the field of optoelectronic materials and devices. The academic exchanges and discussions wereof great significance to promoting high-level scientific research and talents cultivation.

At the symposium, Professor Alex Jen from City University of Hong Kong, Professor David Lidzey from University of Sheffield, UK, Professor Gao Feng from Linköping University, Sweden, Professor Mark Geoghegan from Newcastle University, UK, Professor Ardalan Armin from Swansea University, UK, Professor He Feng from Southern University of Science and Technology, Professor Lin Qianqian from Wuhan University, Professor Li Zhongan from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, and Research Professor Li Wei from Wuhan University of Technology conducted 9 keynote speeches on organic optoelectronic devices, perovskite materials and devices, and optoelectronic device physics, and had wide academic exchange on the development of international cutting-edge issues with teachers and students on site.
