Material Advantage is a Student Program for Materials Science and Engineeringbonded by four societies, including AcerS, AIST, ASM-International and TMS. Material advantage WUT Chapter was established in October 2017 as the 101st Material Advantage Chapter in the world and the first Material Advantage Chapter in China.

Presidency:

Chair, Jiaqi Lu

1. Convened and presided over management committee meetings, responsible for the overall work of the Material advantage branch.

2. Communicated with advisors and Material advantage General Association and discuss the future work.

3. Report on the work of Material advantage branch at member meetings and other relevant meetings.

4. Sign files as the representative of Material advantage WUT

5. Organize and supervise the organization, implementation and financial situation of various works of Material Advantage branch.

Vice Chair, Kai Meng

1. Deal with daily works with Chair.

2. Make plans for the whole year of Material Advantage Chapter and supervise the process.

3. Responsible for summarizing and sorting out various activity data of Material Advantage branch, and writing annual work report.

4. Deal with affairs with chairs absent.

   Secretary, Zhoulong Huang

5. Record the Material Advantage Meetings and work on the post-finishing and advisement.

6. Take charge of the enrollment of Material Advantage Chapter and build the files of members.

7. Assist with the stage conclusion and plans.

8. Send the annual report to the Material Advantage General and Organize the Chapter of Excellence Contest.

   Responsibilities of Chairs

Professional Chair, Beidi Chen

1. Build the innovation atmosphere and open up the activities to broaden horizon.

2. Keep connection between Material Advantage Chapter members and tutor teams.

3. Scheme academic meeting, report and salons.

4. Responsible for the selection of international meeting participant.

Social Chair, Yuan Feng

1. Advertise the image of Material Advantage WUT inner and out of school, on the mainland and abroad.

2. Responsible for the communication between Material Advantage Branch and various student organizations inside and outside the school as well as various departments within the school.

3. Responsible for organizing various cultural quality activities to improve the quality of Material Advantage branch members and the social influence of Material Advantage branch.

Responsible for contacting major universities at home and abroad to find opportunities for Material Advantage branch members to participate in relevant competitions or academic conferences.

Personnel Chair, Ruixuan Jiang

1. Responsible for the organizational assessment, evaluation and recommendation of new members of Material Advantage branch.

2. Managed the members' archives, and was responsible for the records of the Material Advantage branch's change of office and the increase or decrease of members.

3. Responsible for organizing, collecting and updating information of Material Advantage branch members and management committee members, and cooperating with publicity work.

4. Work related to the annual Material Advantage Annual Meeting Best Recruit new branches competition.

Outreach Chair, Zhixue Gao

1.Responsible for the domestic and international publicity work of Material Advantage Branch, and demonstrated the achievements and style of Material Advantage Branch through publicity, road shows, photo albums, etc.

2. Responsible for Material Advantage branch new media, website and other push publicity work.

3. Responsible for the design and production of publicity posters for various activities of Material Advantage Branch.

4. Responsible for informing Material Advantage branch members of the latest news of the four major societies, Material Advantage branch headquarters and other branches.

Service Chair, Yuhan Wang

1. Assisted in the preparation of materials and materials for the organization and implementation of various activities of Material Advantage branch.
